Homemade Pizza Sauce

Ingredients

  • 1 (15 ounce) can crushed tomatoes
  • ½ teaspoon dried basil
  • ½ teaspoon dried oregano
  • 3 medium garlic cloves grated on a microplane
  • 1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
  • teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon Kosher salt or to taste

Instructions

  • In a medium bowl, stir together all of the ingredients. Taste for seasoning.

Notes

Sauce can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week or frozen in a freezer-safe container for up to 3 months.
