Equipment

  • French press

Ingredients

  • 1 cup freshly ground coffee
  • 4 cups water cold or at room temperature
  • 1 cup milk
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • Coffee Ice cubes

Instructions

  • In a french press, pitcher, or container, combine the ground coffee and water. Allow the mixture to steep at least 12 hours and up to 24 hours.
  • Meanwhile, heat the milk and sugar in a small saucepan over medium-low heat just until the sugar dissolves. Refrigerate until ready to use.
  • Press the french press to strain the coffee grounds or use a fine-mesh sieve lined with cheese cloth to strain the coffee mixture.
  • Fill four glasses with the ice cubes. Pour the coffee over the ice cubes. Add 1/4 cup of the sweetened milk to each glass. Enjoy!
