Maple Brown Sugar Oatmeal

Ingredients

  • 1 cup water
  • ½ cup quick cooking oatmeal
  • Pinch of kosher salt
  • 1 ½ to 2 teaspoons packed light brown sugar
  • 1 ½ to 2 teaspoons pure maple syrup

Instructions

  • In a small saucepan, bring the water to a boil. Stir in the oatmeal and cook for 1 minute over medium heat or until thickened. Remove from the heat, cover, and rest for 2 minutes. Stir in brown sugar and maple syrup to taste. Enjoy!
