Like the Apple Pie Spice, pumpkin pie spice is a great way to combine spices that you already have on hand without spending extra money at the store.  It is nice to have at your disposal during the holiday baking season and it also makes for a nice gift (along with some Homemade Pumpkin Purée) for the baker in your life ☺.

Homemade Pumpkin Pie Spice

In 5 minutes, you will have the perfect spice for use for Fall cookies, pies, breads, and more!

Ingredients 

  • 2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon ground ginger
  • 1 ½ teaspoons freshly grated nutmeg
  • 1 ½ teaspoons ground allspice
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cloves, optional

Instructions 

  • In a small bowl, combine the spices, mixing well. Transfer to a small, airtight container until ready to use. Enjoy!

To store:
Spice should be stored in an airtight container or jar for up to 6 months.
